According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glover has reportedly abandoned his previous creative partnership with FX to sign a multi-year, eight-digit deal with Amazon.

Additionally, the deal reportedly includes an entire Amazon Prime Video channel dedicated to Glover’s work, as well as curated work by other artists.

Stephen Glover – Donald’s brother, who also writes and produces Atlanta alongside him – is also said to have signed a general contract with Amazon.
But wait, there’s more: Malia Obama has reportedly been hired as part of the show’s writing room for Hive, an early-development television series whose plot is THR as “[revolving] around a Beyonce-like figure. “

For those concerned about the fate of Atlanta, don’t fret: THR also reports that the third and fourth seasons of the show will begin in March and that the Amazon deal will have no impact on the show.
